3 Habits You Have Break to Experience Wins

Success is in the eyes of the beholder. And when you are ready to start living life in a way that sets you up to live your best life, you’ll start seeing things from a different perspective. In order to experience the new, you have to let go of the old. This means shifting your ideas, letting go of tradition and being willing to live outside of the box. However, reaching your goals and making good moves doesn’t have to feel daunting. Here are three things you should stop doing today to help you obtain more wins in your life.

1. Stop striving for perfect. Strive for progress.

Contrary to what popular society may have you think, nobody is perfect. And anybody who feels like they have to be perfect to be successful and to experience wins is lying to themselves. Your position is not supposed to be one that makes you feel inadequate or as if you are not doing enough. You need to pat yourself on the back for making it to where you are now. Life doesn’t need to be perfect. It just needs to show signs of progress.

2. Stop thinking yourself into worry.

Overthinking should be a disease because over time, it becomes worry. And worry becomes stress. When you desire to live life on another level and win at everything you do, you have to be okay with not being in total control all of the time. Your position is to handle what you can and allow God to do the rest. Train your mind to think positive thoughts and positive things will happen to you and for you.

3. Stop confusing being busy with being productive.

When your head hits your pillow each and every night, do you feel like you’ve gotten things accomplished? Do feel like you made any progress? If you are exhausted on a daily basis but you cannot pinpoint why you are exhausted, you may be suffering from being busy. Busyness can interfere with your progress and cause you not to have the motivation to do the things you know you should be doing. Consider making a change. Only do those things that get you closer to your goals. Keep track of your daily activities and if doing a thing does not align, take it off your to-do list.

If nobody told you, you are in control of the outcome of your life. The effort you put into building a life you love will dictate how you successful you become. You can’t just want more and not be willing to do more to get it. Change your perspective and your life will change.
